I am a traveler, a foreigner, an immigrant, I too have experienced humiliation and disappointment. The fate of those who have traveled the earth in search of a better life is my fate. May one day the unfortunate people of the earth find a little necessities to live in their country. So be it!
In this article, we will look at the causes and issues of the deportation of immigrants by the Trump administration: In addition to the economic support received by Elon Must since the latter publicly declared that he put Mr. Trump in power and demanded some gratitude from the president, the mishandling of immigration during Biden's 4 years in office was decisive in bringing Mr. Trump to power. With a rather meagre record of votes, Camala Harris was humiliated by her opponent who came to power with a very significant record of votes. In fact, Mr. Trump has accessed the white house, a second time, to solve the problem of immigration, more precisely the one that was done at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Certainly, Mr. Trump has taken office, but with a series of decisions that go against his own country that he has vowed to make great again, and which would consequently make him the most unpopular president in the history of his country in less than one hundred days. Among the giddiest decisions made by the president are decisions on immigration. The president is not paying attention to his country's history by acting like this with immigrants. It's no secret revealed that President Trump is a direct product of immigration almost like all those immigrants he relentlessly pursues. This brings us back to think also of President Obama who is a direct product of immigration in a restricted sense, but who passed himself off as a privileged black. Unlike the former, the latter had acted flexibly, because he is a fine politician.
For history and for truth, immigration began in North America with the Asians, however, at the end of the sixteenth century, more specifically in the 1600s, the English landed on the shores of Virginia and established the first American colony. It should be noted that the coasts of Florida had begun to receive Spanish ships long before the arrival of the English in Virginia, but a formal colony had not taken shape. In many history books, African immigrants as such have not been mentioned during that time. We can understand, because the Africans had arrived as slaves and the Europeans as privileged; no matter the difference, one thing is certain, they all arrived at almost the same time.
Immediately afterwards, many colonies began to be established in the United States, and it was at that time that Harvard University was established and became the first American university, the one that President Trump wants to undo at all costs. As a result, the first American residents, not to say inhabitants, were almost all exterminated, and Europeans continued to reach America in the form of colonists, privileged people, gold prospectors, etc., and Africans in the form of slaves, damned people, etc. It should be noted that this form of immigration began with Europeans and Africans in Haiti from 1492. In fact, the colonial territories were expanding, everywhere, agricultural plantations with slaves were established. This type of activity almost embraced life in America.
Since colonization consisted of stripping a place of its wealth to another called the metropolis, the colonists or privileged people considered subjects in the eyes of the metropolis wanted a little more autonomy, and from there, the American revolution was triggered. Great battles were fought by the colonists with the help of the resident slaves, the Haitians, and a handful of the first remaining inhabitants or Amerindians who, themselves, were divided because one portion fought on the side of the colonists and the other portion on the side of the metropolis. This struggle for colonist autonomy in the United States began in the 1765s and lasted for about twenty years. In fact, in 1981, the American colonists managed to gain their autonomy mainly from England, but keeping in place the ferocious slave system of the time.
After the struggle for colonist autonomy in the United States, several jurisdictions or states in a contradictory way tried to abolish slavery, but it was not until 1861 that the Civil War broke out with a key author, the so-called scholar and the greatest of all his peers, Abraham Lincoln, who fought for the emancipation of slaves in the United States. Alas, he died assassinated because of this noble cause, and he had already laid the groundwork for the final ratification of the 13th Amendment. At this point, slavery legally ended in the United States, but other kinds of oppressions stood against blacks. This is why it is said that the works of abolitionists who later joined with those of activists gave rise to the 14th and 15th Amendments.
After the Civil War until the beginning of the 20th century, immigration from Europe to the United States was still by force, however the docking of slave ships was no longer in vogue on American shores. In 1924, Calvin Coolidge took racist measures to limit immigration to the United States by favoring Europeans and virtually eliminating immigration from certain regions of the world, including Asia. It was not until 1965 that Calvin's racist and discriminatory act ended, and since then the United States has received immigrants in large numbers from all over the world. As a result, we have witnessed the cultural and societal transformation of the United States to become the country it is following the fall of the USSR in 1991.
Even today, immigration has made substantial contributions to the United States, so much so that the future of certain sectors is quite inconceivable without it. However, President Trump does not see things this way, and lost in his ideologies of apartheid and ostracism, he opts that Europeans to immigrate to the United States to work, because he does not care about those coming from least developed or developing countries. President Trump must know that it is those who are looking for a fairly good life who go to other countries to work in agricultural fields, in warehouses, to do domestic work, etc., Europeans will not leave their country for these things. Times change, may one day a little reason and humanity pass through his head and heart so that he suspends his wickedness against those who are defenseless, and that he is aware that his actions will have negative consequences on the overall state of his country.
